Ascension in the Boiling Era - be the first to reach the upper world.

The world of Elastovita is like a layer cake. In the lower layer of the biosphere, one-armed elasts are born and develop. The upper layer is home to "enlightened" two-armed individuals. Between them lies a barrier separating these species.

During the boiling era, when Elastovita passes the pericenter of its orbit around a red star, the barrier layer boils from the powerful stellar radiation. Many one-armed elasts overcome the forbidden boundary to ascend to the upper world. To do this, they must undergo a body transformation under the influence of radiation.

The elasts penetrate the boiling layer in a bubble that protects them from the hostile environment. The bubble blocks all activity within, so liberation is possible only through external factors—collision with an obstacle or a decrease in pressure at altitude.
