Be the first and only one to save lost pagan souls from hellfire.

Religious leaders flocked to the newly discovered archipelago, hoping for a bountiful harvest of converts. The simple-minded pagan faith of the savages was no match for sophisticated theologians, so a struggle erupted between the adherents of the new cults.

A missionary can convert a nearby savage. All their neighbors, already converted to other cults, will succumb to the temptation and also join the new religion. The missionary can jump over a single field, but in this case, the former savage reverts to paganism.

Besides the simple natives, shamans are found on the islands. It is impossible to convert a shaman through preaching—he is too clever and cunning for that. However, a shaman is completely dependent on his surroundings, which grant him a comfortable life. If most of his neighbors convert to another cult, the shaman will immediately erect a totem in his honor.
